Fulton Speedway Set for Five Star Racing Program this Saturday, May 13
FULTON, NY – May 10, 2017 – The Fulton Speedway is set for a big night of racing this Saturday, May 13 when Ferris Mowers and VP Small Engine Fuels present a five-star racing program.
On the high speed and thrills race night will be the Tracey Road Equipment DIRTcar Modifieds, SUNY Canton DIRTcar Sportsman, Billy Whittaker Cars & Trux RUSH Late Models, E&V Energy Novice Sportsman and JB Logging & Firewood 4-Cylinders.
Adult grandstand admission is $12 with everyone 18 years old and younger FREE. Pits are $27 participant, $30 nonparticipant. Gates will open at 5:00 with racing at 7:00.
Larry Wight will start his defense of his 2016 Tracey Road Equipment DIRTcar Modified championship. A strong field of cars that include Jimmy Phelps, Pat Ward, Chris Hile, Tom Sears Jr., Tim Sears Jr., Tim Kerr, Billy Whittaker, Chad Phelps, Mike Bowman, Ryan Jordan and others will not make repeating easy for Wight.
Jeremy Pitcher and Glenn Forward already have SUNY Canton DIRTcar Sportsman point paying feature wins in the record books from the ‘Highbank Holdup’ weekend back on March 29. Ron Davis III will be looking to make it back-to-back track championships against a strong weekly field.
In a few short seasons the Billy Whittaker Cars & Trux RUSH Late Models have gone from basically zero cars and a new division to some of the best racing you will see weekly at the speedway.
Two-time defending Late Model track champion Chris Fleming will be looking to make it a three-peat in 2017. New weekly competitor Chad Homan already made a statement on April 29 with a convincing win. With every team stepping up their game in equipment and quality of racing, it’s anyone’s guess who will be champion at the end of the point season.
In 2016 a new name showed up on a weekly basis in the JB Logging & Firewood 4-Cylinders. Dakota Bechler made the weekly trip from the North Country pay off as he won the 2016 track championship on the final night. The weekly racing in the division is tight with most of the features going caution free.

Why is VP Small Engine Fuel the Perfect Fuel?
First, understand that ethanol in street gas absorbs moisture, forms deposits and degrades the fuel system in your outdoor power tools, making them difficult to start and ultimately requiring expensive repairs.
Prevent ethanol-related problems/ Provide easier, more dependable starts/ remain stable in storage through the off-season and beyond/ Extend engine life/ Avoid costly repairs and rebuilds. VP Small Engine Fuel is available in three blends: 4-Cycle Unleaded Fuel/ 2-Cycle Premixed Fuel +Oil (40:1)/ 2-Cycle Premixed Fuel+ Oil (50:1).
