Peoria’s “Salute to Indy” Goes to Davis

Peoria, AZ……..Charles Davis Jr. of Buckeye, Ariz. led the final 18 laps of Saturday night’s “Salute to Indy” Sands Chevrolet USAC Southwest Sprint race at Canyon Speedway Park. He grabbed the lead from Matt Rossi on lap 13 and led the rest of the way to beat R.J. Johnson, Michael Curtis, Rossi and Shon Deskins. The second round of Peoria’s “Salute to Indy” is tonight (Sunday).
