Brandon Gdovic and Shinya Michimi Pair Up for Mid Ohio Lamborghini Super Trofeo Race
China Grove, N.C. (April 30, 2018) – Brandon Gdovic will pilot the No. 46 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Evo for Precision Performance Motorsports (PPM) in the team’s series debut at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course on Saturday, May 5th. Gdovic will share driving duties with Shinya Michimi, the 2016 North American Lamborghini Super Trofeo Champion. Brandon will bring aboard ComServe Wireless, WindStax Wind Power Systems, and American Messaging as his sponsors. Michimi will bring aboard Arai Helmets and Oktane Visual as his sponsors.
Gdovic began his racing career helping to build race cars for PPM and cut his racing teeth rising through the ranks of NASCAR up to the Xfinity series before switching to road racing where he has since been picked up by Lamborghini Squadra Corse in 2017 for their Young Drivers Program. Brandon spends his time between race events with the PPM team preparing and testing the Super Trofeo and GT3 cars that he will drive and field for other drivers. PPM divested itself of its NASCAR assets in 2017 and has focused its efforts on fielding Lamborghini race cars out of their China Grove, North Carolina race facility.

Catch The Action… The series competitors will enjoy two 50-minute races at Mid-Ohio. Race 1 is scheduled to start at 6:10 p.m. Saturday, May 5th. Race 2 will start at 10:25 a.m. Sunday, May 6th. Two practices will take place Friday May 4th at 8:45 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., followed by a double qualifying session Saturday morning at 9:55 a.m. All times are Eastern Standard.
