USAC Eastern Midgets Back at BAPS this Sunday
York Haven, Pennsylvania (June 14, 2018)………The USAC Eastern Midget season resumes this Sunday, June 17 at BAPS Motor Speedway in York Haven, Pa. The event will be held in conjunction with the 12th annual edition of “Eastern Storm” featuring the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship. Alex Bright, currently fourth in the standings, was the winner when the series visited BAPS in April.
Racing gets going this Sunday at 7 pm. Adult tickets are $25, seniors $15, students $15 and pit passes are $35.
Shawn Jackson holds a 34-point lead over Andrew Layser in the latest USAC Eastern Midget standings following last Friday’s race at Bedford, Pa., won by Steven Drevicki.
Drevicki, of Reading, Pa., led all 20 laps and completed a “clean sweep” of the Bedford USAC Eastern Midget/Eastern Sprint Car “doubleheader. Layser took second in the Bedford Midget feature ahead of Kenny Miller, Jackson, and Jason Rice.
