GEORGETOWN, DE – You can’t go to the beach without sunglasses.

For the first time in the history of the Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco, an event will be nationally televised on MAV-TV with the fifth running of the ‘Blast at the Beach’ Velocita-USA South Region big-block/small-block Modified event.

On the card at the Georgetown banked half-mile are the STSS Modifieds racing for $5,000 to win, $1,000 for 10th and $400 to start in a 35-lap main plus STSS Crate 602 Sportsman ($1,000 to win), Delmarva Chargers and Delaware Super Trucks.

The top-three drivers in both the STSS Modified and STSS Crate 602 Sportsman divisions will be sporting new sunglasses in Victory Lane thanks to Design for Vision/Sunglass Central.

The top-three drivers in the STSS Modified ‘Blast at the Beach’ event will receive Ray-Ban Wayfarer rubber black design sunglasses.
