First Responders Friday at Stafford Speedway

Stafford Springs, CT — The Final Friday Night Shoot-Out this Friday, Sept. 14 at Stafford Speedway will recognize First Responders. First Responders showing proper I.D. will receive an adult general admission ticket for only $10. Local EMT, Fire, and Police vehicles will also be on display throughout the evening on the midway with the emergency vehicles taking part in a pre-race parade lap. Stafford’s SK Modifieds® Late Models, SK Lights, Limited Late Models, and Street Stocks will all be in action to provide the on-track entertainment.

The First Responder Friday program will also serve as the Final Friday Night Shoot-Out for the 2018 season. Several drivers are on the cusp of clinching a track championship. Last Friday night Tom Fearn clinched the Late Model championship and he enters the First Responder Night on a 2-race winning streak. Ronnie Williams can clinch the SK Modified® track title if he finishes 18th or better and Jeremy Lavoie can clinch the Limited Late Model track championship if he finishes in front of R.J. Surdell and no more than 4 positions behind Ryan Fearn. In the SK Light division, Bryan Narducci is leading the points standings and is currently riding a 2-race winning streak that has seen thrilling last lap passes 2 weeks in a row. Stafford’s Street Stock division is locked in a tight points race. George Bessette, Jr. has taken control of the championship race with podium finishes in each of the last 7 races but Brandon Michael is only 16 points behind and is on a mission to capture his first track championship.

Tickets for the Final Friday Night Shoot-Out program are priced at $18.50 for adult general admission, $5.00 for children ages 6-14, and children ages 5 and under are admitted free of charge when accompanied by an adult. All First Responders with proper I.D. can get a general admission ticket for only $10. Reserved seat tickets are $20.00 for all ages. All ticket prices include 10% CT Admission Tax. Stafford Motor Speedway offers plenty of free parking along with overnight parking available for self-contained Recreational Vehicles.

The 46th Annual NAPA Fall Final Weekend will close out the 2018 season on the weekend of September 29-30. Tickets may be purchased by calling the speedway office. Discount tickets are available through participating NAPA stores.
