Attica and Wayne County Super Late Model Series Returns for 6th Season
ATTICA/ORRVILLE, Ohio – Attica Raceway Park and Wayne County Speedway will team up once again for the Super Late Model Series with each track running three races throughout the season. It marks the sixth straight year of the late model series challenge.
Attica Raceway Park’s dates will be on Friday’s April 12th, May 17th, and July 26th while Wayne County Speedway’s races will be on Saturday’s April 13th, June 1st, and July 27th. Each race will be the track’s usual purse plus each tracks rules will be used. The winner of the ARP/WCS Super Late Model Series will pocket $500 while second place receives $300 and third place collects $200 plus all drivers finishing in the top 10 in points will get a Summit Racing Equipment gift certificate for $100.
In the previous five seasons, the Attica Raceway Park and Wayne County Speedway’s Super Late Model Series has seen Ashland, Ohio’s Ryan Markham and Wooster, Ohio’s Doug Drown alternate the championship as Markham has won in 2014, 2016 and 2018 as he also grabbed the regular season track championships at both tracks. Drown won the crown in 2015 and 2017.
