Bellm Set for Pair of Events this Weekend at Humboldt and Lake Ozark

NIXA, Mo. (April 19, 2019) – The pairing of Kansas’ Humboldt Speedway and Missouri’s Lake Ozark Speedway could be just what the doctor ordered for Kyle Bellm and the No. 14k Sprint Car team this weekend.

Following another challenging outing at Oklahoma’s Creek County Speedway, Bellm and crew look to turn their luck around at a pair of tracks that have offered up previous success.

Friday’s card at Humboldt Speedway features the ASCS Sooner Region vs. NCRA Sprint Cars while Saturday is the opening round of weekly championship chase action at Eldon, Missouri’s Lake Ozark Speedway.

“Humboldt has been good for us in the past and we also go really well at Lake Ozark,” Bellm comments.  “It should be a good weekend for us, we just need to find a little bit of luck.”

Last Friday’s start at Creek County Speedway got off to a promising start with a front row outside draw for heat race action.  But, when another car looped it in the opening corner, it turned into a longer night than expected.

“Creek County is tight and there wasn’t anywhere to go,” Bellm said of the incident.  “It tore up quite a bit of stuff, it was a scramble just to get back out for the ‘B’ Main.”

Starting scratch in “B” Main action, Bellm worked his forward but fell just one spot short of a transfer position.

He and the No. 14k team look to turn that around this weekend at Humboldt and Lake Ozark.  Bellm has a previous ASCS Regional win at Humboldt and numerous triumphs at Lake Ozark Speedway over the past several years.

The Kyle Bellm Racing efforts are made possible with support from marketing partners including Greenworks Nursery, Landscapes Awarded, Christian County Collision Repair, Bybee Lawn Care, PPG Automotive Finishes, Colorvision, Schure Built Suspensions, Schaeffers Racing Oil and Park West Retirement Living.

Up Next: ASCS Sooner Region vs. NCRA Sprint Cars at Humboldt (KS) Speedway on Friday and weekly racing series action at Lake Ozark Speedway (Eldon, MO) on Saturday.
