Kaylee Bryson Set for POWRi Weekend Triple

BIXBY, Okla. (April 25, 2019) – Kaylee Bryson resumes her pursuit of Lucas Oil POWRi National Midget “Rookie of the Year” honors with a trio of events this weekend in Illinois and Missouri.

The 18-year-old from Muskogee, OK, will be in action aboard the Dave Mac Motorsports No. 11b Toyota-TRD entry at Belleville, Illinois’ Belle-Clair Speedway on Friday before shifting to Pevely, Missouri’s Federated Auto Parts I-55 Raceway on Saturday and then back to Illinois at Jacksonville Speedway on Sunday.

All three tracks will be new territory for Bryson.  She has ambitious goals for her first-time visits to each track.

“We definitely want to make into all three features and then run top-seven or so,” Bryson explained.

It will be the first POWRi Midget competition for Bryson since opening the season with the four-race “Turnpike Challenge” set in Oklahoma last month.

Bryson displayed her prowess by racing into a pair of features amongst fields of approximately 50 cars and mixing it up with some of the series’ top contenders.

“The car felt good all weekend, now we just want to get some good finishes,” Bryson explains.

Since the “Turnpike Challenge”, Bryson has taken in several Micro Sprint events with a triumph during Donnie Ray Crawford Memorial preliminary competition among several other top tens.

With the POWRi National Midget season kicking into full gear this weekend, Bryson looks to start building some momentum with several strong finishes this weekend.

Along with Toyota-TRD, other marketing partners making the 2019 slate of events for Bryson possible includes Sanders and Associates, Car and Fleet, Mobil 1, Speedway Engine Development, Best Graphics, Fieldhouse Gear, Precision Inspection, Panels by Smoke, Walker Performance, Sanders Wheels, American Discount Brake and Muffler, D&N Fabrication, Darling Ingredients, PJ’s and Hinds Family.

Next Up:  Lucas Oil POWRi National Midgets at Belle-Clair Speedway (Belleville, IL) on Friday, Federated Auto Parts I-55 Raceway (Pevely, MO) on Saturday and Jacksonville (IL) Speedway on Sunday.
