Fulton Speedway Highbank Holdup Weekend Canceled; Brewerton Speedway Opener Friday, May 3, Fulton Speedway Saturday, May 4
FULTON, NY – Anticipated steady rain on Friday coupled with forecasted temperatures on Saturday in the 30s and 40s with gusty winds has forced Fulton Speedway staff, in conjunction with DIRTcar Racing and ESS Sprint car Officials, to cancel the ‘Highbank Holdup Weekend’ Friday & Saturday, April 26-27. No rescheduled dates for either event are scheduled at this time.
On Friday, May 3 the ‘D-Shaped Dirt Demon’ will let loose the horsepower with the season opener presented by Ehrlich Pest Control. Hitting the speedway will be the Tracey Road Equipment DIRTcar Modifieds, DOT Foods DIRTcar Sportsman, U.S Air Force Mod Lites and Fleet Repair Truck & Trailer Repair 4-Cylinders.
Jimmy Phelps (Modifieds) Kevin Root (Sportsman) Justin Williams (Mod Lites) Ray Bechler (4-Cylinder) are defending track champions.
Adult grandstand admission is $12 with everyone 18 years old and younger free. Pit admission is $27 Member, $30 Non-Member. Grandstands will open at 5:30 pm with the first heat set for 7:30 pm.
Saturday, May 4th at the Fulton Speedway will see Ferris Mowers present a night of racing thrills on the ‘Highbanks’ featuring the Tracey Road Equipment DIRTcar Modifieds, DOT Foods DIRTcar Modifieds, Billy Whittaker Cars & Trux RUSH Late Models and E&V Energy Novice Sportsman.
Larry Wight (Modifieds) Alan Fink (Sportsman) Jason Parkhurst (Late Models) are defending track champions.
Adult grandstand admission is $12 with everyone 18 years old and younger free. Pit admission is $27 Member, $30 Non-Member. Grandstands open at 5:00 pm with the first heat race set for 7:00 pm.
