Kruczek Earns Thrilling First ACT Win in Shortened Oxford Event

Oxford, ME – Newmarket, NH’s Bryan Kruczek grabbed his first career American-Canadian Tour (ACT) win after a back-and-forth battle at Maine’s Oxford Plains Speedway on Sunday, April 28. Kruczek took the lead for good from Hudson, NH’s Joey Polewarczyk for good on lap 107 of an event that was shortened to 125 laps after a rash of cautions. He then pulled away over the final 18 laps to win the season opener.

Polewarczyk ended up second while Hinesburg, VT’s Bobby Therrien was third. Williamstown, VT’s Jimmy Hebert and polesitter Chip Grenier of Graniteville, VT rounded out the top-5. ACT will have more on this event shortly.

The ACT Late Model Tour heads to Barre, VT’s Thunder Road next Sunday, May 5 for the 21st Community Bank 150. Post time for the event is 1:30 pm. Admission is $25 for adults and free for kids ages 12 and under.
