Hallstrom Returns to Home Track with Pro All Stars Series North
NORTHFIELD, Vt. (May 23, 2019) – After a couple of weekends off, Evan Hallstrom will return to his home track of Thunder Road International Speedbowl in Barre, Vt., this Saturday with the Pro All Stars Series North.
“I’m really excited to get back to my home track and get some racing in this weekend,” he said. “It’s one of my favorite tracks to race at and we’re hoping that we can perform well and be a contender this weekend.”
During the downtime, Hallstrom has been working with the ‘Click-It or Ticket’ campaign and raising awareness about the dangers of texting and driving.
“We’ve been pretty busy with our campaign, spreading the word about safe driving and talking about texting and driving since April was national distracted driving awareness month,” he said.
Now the focus shifts back to his race car. Throughout his busy late model schedule, Hallstrom made select super late model starts at Thunder Road International Speedbowl during the 2018 season.
“I think we have a pretty good shot at having a good finish this weekend,” he said. “I’ve learned a lot from last year as far as handling, speed and tire wear around that place. There will be some tough competition out there so it’s anybody’s race. You just have to bring your ‘A’ game and it all comes down to who has all the pieces put together and has a good day.”
