Casella Waste Systems Night Postponed to Friday
Barre, VT – Thunder Road officials have announced that Casella Waste Systems Night has been postponed to Friday, June 14 at 7:00pm due to a rainy forecast. The event was originally scheduled to be the Thursday night opener on June 13.
As a result, Thunder Road will race on Friday night for the second straight week. The schedule of events for Casella Waste Systems Night includes a full card of championship racing for the Maplewood/Irving Oil Late Models, Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Tigers, and Allen Lumber Street Stocks. The New England Antique Racers will also be in town for their annual visit with the cars of yesteryear. The pits open at 3:30pm and the front gates open at 5:15pm. Admission is just $12 for adults, $3 for kids ages 6-12, and $25 for a family of four (2 adults, 2 kids).
