Bellm Set for LOS 360 Nationals after Charging to Top Ten Finish in 410 Debut

NIXA, Mo. (August 27, 2019) – After rallying to a top-ten finish in his 410-ci Sprint Car debut this past weekend at Farmington, Missouri’s St. Francois County Raceway, Kyle Bellm is back in Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour competition with this weekend’s Tenth Annual LOS 360 Nationals at Eldon, Missouri’s Lake Ozark Speedway on Saturday and Sunday.

The two-day card offers up a $3,000 winner’s share on Saturday before upping the ante to $5,000-to-win on Sunday.

“It’s a place that we have always run well at,” the driver of the No. 14k Sprint Car explains.  “We had a good run at this race last year on the first night then ran into some problems the next night.  We’re looking to put together a good weekend.”

Bellm last scored a win at Lake Ozark Speedway on July 28 of last year and raced to a third-place finish on the opening night of last year’s LOS 360 Nationals.

Last weekend, Bellm made his first start in 410-ci action at St. Francois County Raceway’s $3,000-to-win event in Farmington, MO.

And, after a rough start to the night, Bellm bounced back to score a top-ten finish.

“We started seventh in the heat and they don’t do passing points,” Bellm says.  “We were passing for fourth and I overdrove it and got into the wall and knocked the Jacobs ladder off.”

Bellm bounced right back though after quick repairs, racing to a third-place finish in “B” Main action after starting tenth.

From there, Bellm rallied from 18th in the “A” Main to post a tenth-place finish.

“We were going pretty well, then the track took some rubber,” Bellm sums up.  “Overall, there were a lot of good things to take away from it and we’re looking forward to more opportunities to race with the 410.”

For this weekend though, it’s back to the 360-ci powerplant with the LOS 360 Nationals at Lake Ozark Speedway with several more notable 360-ci events in the upcoming weeks including the Hockett/McMillin Memorial at Lucas Oil Speedway on September 19-21 and I-30 Speedway’s Short Track Nationals on October 4-5.

The Kyle Bellm Racing efforts are made possible with support from marketing partners including Greenworks Nursery, Landscapes Awarded, Christian County Collision Repair, Bybee Lawn Care, PPG Automotive Finishes, Colorvision, Schure Built Suspensions, Schaeffers Racing Oil and Valley Park West Retirement Living.

Quick Stats:  25 Races, 1 win, 5 top-fives, 12 top-tens.
