Local Businesses Jump on Board for Mid-Atlantic Championship ‘Roll the Dice’ Challenge Programs
GEORGETOWN, DE – Three area businesses have joined with Georgetown Speedway management to allow Modified, Super Late Model and Small-Block Modified competitors the opportunity to ‘Roll the Dice’ during Mid-Atlantic Championship Weekend.
The two-day festival at the Sussex County half-mile oval is set to conclude the 2019 season on Friday, November 1 and Saturday, November 2.
Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco big-block/small-block Modifieds race 40 laps for a $5,000 winner’s share.
Thanks to Stockley Materials with locations in Georgetown and Lewes, STSS Modified drivers have the opportunity post a “Gambler’s Fee” of $50 to earn $6,000 for a victory and $100 to take home a $7,000 top prize.

JD Shuckers of Georgetown has signed on to raise the stakes for Sunoco Super Late Model competitors. Like the STSS Modifieds, the Super Late Models race for $5,000 to win. That number climbs to $6,000 with a $50 “Gambler’s Fee” and $7,000 with a $100 “Gambler’s Fee” posted.

The Stockley Tavern will allow racers in the Friday night Small-Block Modified race to take home more cash. A $3,000 base top prize has been set by the original pay structure. That number goes to $4,000 for a $50 “Gambler’s Fee” and $5,000 with a $100 “Gambler’s Fee” posted.
