Bean Caps Off 3rd Straight Eastern Title with Nashville Win
Nashville, Tennessee (November 2, 2019)………Jessica Bean capped off her third consecutive USAC Eastern Speed2 Midget championship in grand style Saturday at Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville where she set fast time in qualifying and led the final eight laps en route to her third-straight series feature victory.
Bean (Farmland, Ind.) trailed early leaders Daytona Spicola (Pueblo, Colo.) (Laps 1-3) and the series’ all-time winningest driver Chris Lamb (Colfax, N.C.) (Laps 4-27) before making the winning move on the 28th circuit to score the victory.
Bean was followed to the line by Lamb, Sam Mazzo (Burns, Tenn.), Hunter Wise (Allentown, Pa.) and Braeden Allum (Salisbury, N.C.) who rounded out the top-five in the season finale.
