After 36 Years Motorsports Sponsorship Marketing News will No Longer be Published
LANGHORNE, PA November 6, 2019 . . . “After 36 years of publishing Motorsports Sponsorship Marketing News I have found that a lot of sponsorship information is available from a myriad of locations thanks to new technologies,” said publisher Ernie Saxton. Subscriptions to MSMN have been slipping over the last year or so due to those new technologies. “Therefore, sadly, the August 2019 edition is the final issue.”
Over the years we have helped many in the motorsports industry to gain sponsorship, improve their sponsorship efforts and grow their knowledge of marketing and sponsorship.
The newsletter, published since 1985, has been filled with help for sponsorship seekers, featuring articles by experts on sponsorship marketing and articles on sponsorship deals.
“Our thanks go out to those who were contributors to the newsletter, media who helped promote the newsletter and thanks to those who were subscribers.
I have certain projects that I will continue to be involved in. I will be part of the team at NASCAR sanctioned Grandview Speedway handling the PR, sponsorships and advertising. This will be my 53rd year. Again this year we will be handling the PR for Len Sammons Productions and his indoor racing events along with the 36th annual Motorsports 2020 Trade Show.
My columns will continue to appear in Area Auto Racing News as they have since 1981. Plus our columns will continue to appear in Digital Media newspapers, Inside Track Motorsports News and Late Model Racer.
I will also continue to share my knowledge and expertise with interested parties in public relations and sponsorship marketing in motorsports.”
