After Outstanding 2019, Tim Hartman Jr. Ready for All-Tech Raceway STSS Sunshine Swing

LAKE CITY, FL – The Hitman. TH2. Big Time Little Tim.

No matter your nickname of choice, Tim Hartman Jr. completed a career-defining season in 2019. Now, the Niskayuna, N.Y., driver is poised to kick-start his ’20 campaign earlier than ever: in the state of Florida this February.

Hartman has filed his Crate 602 Sportsman entry for the first-ever Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco ‘Sunshine Swing’ at All-Tech Raceway in Lake City, Fla., February 5-8.

Hartman will be aboard the Parillo Services No. 22 Troyer starting Wednesday night with the scheduled open practice, followed by $1,250-to-win programs Thursday and Friday and the $1,500-to-win Saturday finale for the STSS Crate 602 Sportsman competitors.

Hartman is no doubt a favorite to grab a Sunoco Race Fuels checkered flag during the mini-series.

In ’19, Hartman was a dominant force at his Saturday home track of Fonda (N.Y.) Speedway. He earned seven victories and the track championship worth $3,000. Hartman’s conquests included the $2,000-to-win STSS Crate 602 Sportsman event during the July 3 ‘Firecracker’ and the Sportsman program during Fonda 200 weekend.

The 26-year-old driver took his talents on the road to compete on the STSS Crate 602 Sportsman North Region. Again, the results were outstanding with victories at Thunder Mountain Speedway in Center Lisle, N.Y., Accord (N.Y.) Speedway, Fonda and Afton (N.Y.) Motorsports Park.

He will be recognized as series champion January 4 when the STSS holds the ‘Night of Champions’ Awards Banquet at Bear Creek Mountain Resort in Lehigh Valley, Pa.

Hartman will face a talented and diverse field of STSS Crate 602 Sportsman competitors when the series makes its Sunshine State debut.
