Sheppard Shines in STIDA Late Model Power Rankings

TULSA, Okla. (March 5, 2020) – Brandon Sheppard is out to a commanding lead in the inaugural edition of the STIDA Late Model Power Rankings.

The New Berlin, IL, racer has enjoyed a stellar early portion of the 2020 season that has already included eight victories among his 21 overall top-fives.  Sheppard set the tone early with three Wild West Shootout triumphs in Arizona and has followed that up with another three Lucas Oil Late Model wins at East Bay and another pair of DIRTcar Nationals wins at Volusia Speedway Park.

Sheppard holds a 255-point advantage over fellow Illinois shoe Brian Shirley, who is the only other driver to reach double-digits in the top-five column at 11.  Canada’s Ricky Weiss holds down the third position with New York’s Tim McCreadie and Tennessee’s Jimmy Owens also among the current top five.
