USAC Statement Regarding Postponement of March Races
Speedway, Indiana (March 16, 2020) – Given the uncertainty and ever-rapidly changing situation of the coronavirus pandemic in our country, the USAC management team is working cohesively with race promoters and track operators for races scheduled over the next 30 days. Decisions on each race will be made according to local, state and federal mandates that ensure the safety of all our fans and teams.
As of now, races scheduled for the CRA and West Coast Sprint Cars, as well as the Western Midget Series and Eastern SpeeD2 Midgets have been postponed through the end of March. At this time only those events have been affected.
We highly recommend that all USAC-sanctioned events adhere to the restrictions placed by local, state, and federal authorities, along with making every effort to follow guidelines and recommendations to help our fans, teams and competitors stay safe and healthy.
These are unprecedented times that we all are facing. We want to race just as much as anyone, but it will take us all working together to get back on track.
As we move forward USAC will continue to provide timely updates on all of our social channels:
