2020 ATQMRA Season Opener June 27th

I am extremely pleased to share with everyone that our 2020 season will officially be scheduled to begin on Saturday, June 27th, 2020 at the Mahoning Valley Speedway. 

A full Mahoning event schedule will be announced in the coming days. However, please expect there to be an optional $25/car paid practice from noon-2:30 PM on race day, followed by a regular scheduled show to proceed. We are also expecting fans to be permitted at this event. A huge thank you to Buddy, Dino, and the entire Mahoning staff for working together to make this date a reality.

A full press release will be published, publicly, this weekend. However, I wanted to make sure our members heard the news directly first, rather than through a social media post.

Buddy was also able to secure a new Bethel date for us, which will be on Saturday, August 15th, 2020. This was previously an open weekend on our original schedule. We appreciate the staff at Bethel Motor Speedway collaborating with the ATQMRA to make this new race date possible.

This is all the information I can provide at this time. All remaining schedule and ATQMRA updates will be given as soon as possible, when applicable.

For now, the focus is on Mahoning for our Saturday, June 27th opener. When I sent out the surveys a couple of weeks ago, many of you asked for a 2-week notice prior to our first race- I am glad we were able to meet that request by our members.

If you have not done so already, please complete your 2020 membership forms and mail your membership fees to Lenny and Donna. I know they would GREATLY appreciate having a lot of that stuff taken care of now, rather than scrambling on the first race-day of the season.

Please confirm with me as soon as applicable that you will be attending Mahoning on the 27th so I can put an entry list together.
