With Three Races to Go, Seekonk Virtual Drivers Roll to Myrtle Beach

SEEKONK, Mass. — Just past the halfway point in the 2021 Seekonk Speedway iRacing Road Trip Tour presented by Souza Media, some of Seekonk’s best drivers, crew members, family, friends and staff will return to competition on Thursday night, March 11.
Live on Extreme Sim TV, race four of the six-race season, the Myrtle Beach Memorial 100 presented by Barrington Automotive, will take place with the Super Late Models. As with all of the Seekonk virtual races, drivers will each have the same setup under the hood, making it a true test of ability behind the virtual wheel.
The point standings battle continues to heat up, as defending champion Ryan Kuhn looks to seal his second consecutive title in the final few races. He currently leads Thomas Axsom by 14 points, while PJ Evans is third, 16 points back. Other drivers inside the top-five include former Seekonk champions Mason Tessier (Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero) and Richie Murray (Seekonk Sport Trucks).

Barrington Automotive, located in Barrington, Rhode Island, is family-owned and operated and has been servicing the Bay Area since 1999. They service all makes and models, from state inspection to computer diagnostics to big engine repairs & more! Visit them on Facebook for more information or call 401-245-6919!
Registered drivers for the event include former Seekonk champions Murray and Tessier, along with Kuhn (Late Models) and Reese Bogue (Bandolero), Dylan Estrella (Late Models). Other drivers expected to compete include Jake Vanada, Mike Henriques, Ethan Souza, Cody Tripp, Elias Dib, Darryl Church, Nick Wood, Nate McCombe and more.
Drivers will be chasing $75 to score the feature win, courtesy of Barrington Automotive, along with additional funds to the remaining of the top-five finishers. A race sponsorship is set at $300 — including $200 going towards the top-five in each event — and $100 going towards the season-ending point fund. On top of the race awards and point fund, each event has a large selection of contingency awards on the line.
