Reutzel Right at Home in Texas this Weekend after another World of Outlaws Top-Ten
CLUTE, Texas (March 19, 2021) – Aaron Reutzel is back home in Texas this weekend as the Roth Motorsports No. 83 Sprint Car team takes on the World of Outlaws for a pair of nights at the Cotton Bowl Speedway in Paige, TX.
Reutzel continues his Rookie of the Year campaign on the WoO trail with the pair of events on Friday and Saturday night.
Holding down the eighth position in series points, Reutzel added his fifth top-ten finish in six series events last weekend in Louisiana after a cut tire the previous night cut short a strong run.
Last weekend’s double began at Columbus, Mississippi’s Magnolia Motor Speedway with Reutzel timing in 12th-quickest and then earning a Dash position by battling from third to second in his heat race.
Gridding the feature third, Reutzel battled amongst the top-five for the first half of the 30-lapper before a cut right rear tire sent his No. 83 Sprint Car into the wall and cut the night short.
Moving on to Revolution Park on Saturday, Reutzel raced into his third Dash in a row after qualifying sixth and then posting a runner-up finish in heat race action.
Starting third in the feature for the second night in a row, Reutzel finished out the night ninth a non-stop feature event.
Riding a wave of momentum that includes five top-ten finishes in six World of Outlaws events this season, Reutzel looks to continue that trend with this week’s pair of events at Cotton Bowl Speedway.
2021 Quick Stats: 15 races, 2 wins, 4 top-fives, 11 top-tens.
