Big Diamond Speedway ‘Anthracite Assault’ Halted By Rain
MINERSVILLE, PA – Heavy storms forecasted for the late afternoon and early evening have forced the postponement of Tuesday’s ‘Anthracite Assault’ at Big Diamond Speedway.
The Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco was set for its annual ‘combination event’ for both the Modified Hurlock Auto & Speed North Region and the Velocita-USA South Region presented by Design for Vision and Sunglass Central.
While no official rain date has been scheduled, STSS and Big Diamond Speedway management will look for available options.
Stay up to date with make-up date information at the STSS website (www.shorttracksuperseries.com) or follow the series on social media.
Next up for the STSS is the ‘Firecracker 50’ on Sunday, July 4 at N.Y.’s Fonda Speedway. The $10,000-to-win, 50-lap affair will now be Round No. 4 for the Hurlock Auto & Speed North Region $12,000 championship pursuit.
A full information sheet, including times and prices will be available in the coming weeks.
