When you are hot you are hot, and right now it is all Jason Gray in the Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds as he takes home his third win of the season coming from the last qualifying spot to do so. Jordan Fornwalt after a wild ride last week vindicated himself taking home the runner up position this week. DJ Robinson had his best finish of the season and first trip to victory lane came home in third. Robert Tucker and James Fadden completed the top five.
The Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes with record numbers see their first repeat winner as Josh Harrington once again driving the Tillotson “rocket” machine impressed everyone taking home the win. Coming from mid pack he was able to get to the front and hold off the hard-fought challenges of Thomas Placey and Tim Hodge. Both would run out of time and have to settle for the second and third place positions respectfully. Matt Ellsworth once again had a very impressive run coming home in fourth with Ricky Sanville having a great run taking home fifth.
The fourth different winner of the season honors in the USAC DMA Midgets goes to Seth Carlson as he was able to get past Will Hull with just two laps to go. Hull took the lead on lap two and looked unstoppable, but Carlson was able to pull a rabbit out of his hat to get by him when it mattered most and cruise on to get his first win of the season. Hull was able to hold on for second with Josh Sunn making it back to victory lane in third. Brandon Piastka and Justin Sheridan rounded out the top five. The USAC DMA Midgets will be back at the Ridge on July 3rd.
The C.A. Miller Limited Late Models rained out feature had Todd Dunham taking the checkers home as Ryan Christian ran out of time to set a challenge for the win, leaving him to have to settle for second. John Neddo looked strong taking home third as Matt Piper and Tyler Tremblay rounded out the top five. Christian must have found something before their second feature as he was declared the winner once again being out John Neddo who came home in second with Tyler Tremblay improving on his performance from the first feature to take third. Todd Dunham and Matt Piper were the two scored fourth and fifth for the main event.
Lucas Wheeler is back on top in the LaValley Building Supply crossing the line first to grab the win over Mike McClay with his best finish and Jesse Dunham who crossed the line in second and third. Dustin Towle in only his second appearance comes home fourth with Jacob brown taking fifth.
The Peanuts Auto LLC Four Cylinders once again had plenty of lap time this week, as they concluded their third segment of their madness night running 33 laps. Jason Porter grabbed the win in the segment as well making him the overall winner of the event. Bobby Bell and Kevin LaForest are recorded in second and third. With Garrett Brown and Devon Spinks completing the top five for the overall. Their second round of racing saw the competitors taking to the track with three qualifiers and then two separate features based on high/low handicapping. Two new feature winners are being added to the record books. Devin Bell is declared the winner in feature one with Jason Porter and Kevin LaForest joining him in victory lane in second and third. Johnathon Baker and John LaForest rounded out the top five. Feature two win goes to Spencer Braley with his first win. Katie Burroughs and Sawyer Harrington joined him in victory lane in that order with Santana Merritt and Shawn Bell completing the top five.
