Devil’s Bowl Speedway Postpones Fireworks, Racing to Sunday

Sprint Car Spectacular to be held on Independence Day at 6:00 p.m.

WEST HAVEN, Vt. – Devil’s Bowl Speedway officials have postponed Saturday’s massive holiday fireworks and “Independence Day Sprint Car Spectacular” racing event to Sunday, July 4 at 6:00 p.m. A rainy forecast at race time on Saturday evening forced the change.

The jam-packed program will run as planned in its entirety on Sunday. The Sprint Cars of New England and CRSA Sprint Cars tours will square off head-to-head for the first time ever on Sunday night, with upwards of 30 cars expected. Devil’s Bowl Speedway’s headline weekly division, the Sportsman Modifieds, will run a 50-lap main event and the wild-and-crazy Enduro Series will also have a 50-lapper, and the track’s four weekly support divisions will also be on the card. A huge fireworks display will take place at approximately 9:30 p.m.

“Our best chance for a great race track surface and overall fan experience will be on Sunday night, without having to worry about an uncertain weather pattern at race time,” Devil’s Bowl Speedway promoter Mike Bruno said. “We have Sprint Car teams traveling from five or six hours away, and we want to make sure that they have a good experience as well. We’re going to have a great time on Sunday night, and it will be worth the 24-hour wait.”

Grandstand admission is $20 for adults and $5 for children (12 and under). Tickets are available online at https://buytickets.at/devilsbowlspeedway, or at the speedway on Sunday beginning at 4:30 p.m. For Sunday only, the Infield Drive-In will be reserved for overflow pit area parking and pit pass holders only, for people age 10 and older. Pit passes are $30 for Devil’s Bowl Speedway 2021 Members and $40 for non-members, available at the speedway at 3:00 p.m. or on the Pit Pay App on your smartphone.

Devil’s Bowl Speedway is located on Route 22A in West Haven, Vt., four miles north of U.S. Route 4, Exit 2, and just 20 minutes from Rutland, Vt.  For more information, visit www.DevilsBowlSpeedwayVT.com or call (802) 265-3112.
