Tony Iuliano Passes Away

Former Norwood & Thompson Driver was 78

Anthony K. Iuliano “Tony” 78 passed away peacefully on December 5, 2021, with his son Bill and lifelong friend Pete by his side. Born in West Warwick, he was the son of the late James and Oma (Korte) Iuliano.

Tony was educated at Lasalle Academy, and then Providence College graduating with a bachelor’s degree. He was a car salesperson at many dealerships throughout Rhode Island after owning his own used car lot, Matteson’s Auto Sales, in Coventry, RI. He was a lifelong auto racing fan, classic car enthusiast, and license plate collector with a wealth of knowledge that he passed on to countless people. He would always put others before himself and had a smile that would light up a room. Tony was a long-time friend of Bill W.

He is survived by his sons, David Iuliano, and his wife Jessica, of Greensboro, N.C. William Iuliano and his wife Andrea, of East Greenwich, his stepson Lt. Michael Curran EPFD, as well as the mother of his two sons: Margaret Kirk of Mancos, CO. He is also survived by his cousin Patricia Riecke and her husband Paul of Warwick, and by his Grand pup, Butters. He was the brother of the late James A. Iuliano.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, from 5 to 8 PM with a service at 8, in the Carpenter Jenks Funeral Home, 659 East Greenwich Ave. West Warwick.
