STSS Sunshine Swing Crate 602 Sportsman Tech Notice (2-10-22)
Following technical inspection, the Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco has announced the following adjustments to the ‘Sunshine Swing’ Crate 602 Sportsman finishes from Wednesday, February 9 and Thursday, February 10 at All-Tech Raceway.
The following disqualifications have altered the finishes:
- Kevin Chaffee, winner, Feb. 9 – carburetor violation
- Joshua Allen, second-place, Feb. 9 – following parts did not meet OEM specs: valve locks, connecting rods, pistons, camshaft – further tech inspection was not required after removing the oil pan.
- Michael Ballestero, fifth-place, Feb. 9 – tire compound violation
- Brandon Watkins, winner, Feb. 10 – take-up spring exceeded maximum rate of 5 lbs.
Thursday Crate 602 Sportsman Revised Finish: SCOTT HITCHENS, Tom Princiotta, Joe Toth, Tyler Corcoran, Dylan Madsen, Walter J. Hammond, Payton Talbot, Marty Kelly III, Water Hammond Jr., Johnny Bruno, Craig Whitmoyer, Jimmy Zacharias, Addison Bowman, Mike Nagel Jr., Steve Davis, Richard Murtaugh III, John McPhee Jr., Jeff Watson, David Dickey, Eric Kormann, Anthony Warren, Brian Calabrese, Michael Ballestero, Alex Bell, Kevin Chaffee, Kevin Stevens.
Disqualified: Brandon Watkins, Josh Allen.
