March 18th Deadline Approaching for Full Season Entry Forms
Barre, VT — The March 18th deadline for ACT Late Model Tour drivers and teams ready to tackle the full, 13-race 2022 schedule is fast approaching. The longer teams hold off, the sooner that $300 discount is gone as the full season entry shoots from the discounted $700 to $1,000. Several teams, including New Hampshire’s Jimmy Renfew Jr., have already filed and are entered in all events that make up the 31st year of ACT Late Model Tour action.
Teams that submit their full-season entry are automatically entered into all 13 events on the ACT Late Model Tour schedule. That’s six point-counting events that pay at least $5,000 to win along with return trips to ACT stalwarts, Vermont’s Thunder Road, New Hampshire’s White Mountain Motorsports Park and Maine’s Oxford Plains Speedway, along with return trips to Monadnock Speedway in Winchester, New Hampshire and Autodrome Chaudiere and Autodrome Montmagny in Quebec. The American-Canadian Tour will also kick off the season once again at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon and end the year out with a Southern New England swing at Connecticut’s Thompson Speedway during Sunoco World Series weekend and Seekonk Speedway, in Massachusetts, for the Haunted Hundred.
For the first time in 14 years the Vermont Milk Bowl presented by Northfield Savings Bank will be included on the ACT Late Model schedule as a “100%er” event. Whereas the Milk Bowl wont count towards points in the traditional fashion, ACT Late Model Tour drivers must attempt to qualify for the event to retain their “100%er” status and their eligibility for season-ending point fund money. If drivers need any further reason to make the annual Autumn trek to Thunder Road, the 60th Vermont Milk Bowl presented by Northfield Savings Bank will award at least $12,000 to the winner, with the chance for a much higher payout between lap money and bonuses boosting the purse to $103,100 for the weekend.
Submitting a full season entry also guarantees media exposure throughout the year for drivers, teams and sponsors through social media, on the website, graphics and press releases that reach media outlets across Eastern Canada and the Northeast United States.
Drivers who submit their full-season entries to the ACT offices in Barre, Vermont by March 18 will receive the discounted price of $700 — a 30 percent savings. If a full-season entry is submitted after the March 18 deadline, the fee is $1,000. Any driver who submits the full-season ACT entry form is considered to have entered all point-counting events on the 2022 schedule, along with the Vermont Milk Bowl. If someone files a full-season entry, they will not have to submit individual entries for each event. The champion is guaranteed nearly $12,000 worth of awards with almost $50,000 in total point fund and contingency monies on the line.
