Tempesta’s Restaurant Named Official Catering Partner of Whitcomb 5 Series

GW Promotional Group announced today the addition of Tempesta’s Restaurant, based in Keene, New Hampshire, as the official catering partner of the Whitcomb 5 Series for the 2022 season.

Tempesta’s, in operation for over two decades, is a family-owned and operated business including a restaurant, where they service a variety of different clients. In their current location, inside a Best Western hotel, they have a 25+ bar for patrons, along with tables.

They offer all different types of food on their menu – from hot dogs, to prime rib, to seafood, pasta, and more – it’s a large menu! With everyone in the family pitching in to help, including parents, brothers, children, sisters, and more, they cook from scratch and everything is fresh. They do a lot of smoked meats, BBQ, italian nights, buffet, and more.

For more information, you can visit them on Facebook or call 603-203-8736 to inquire about having them work with your event.

“We do a lot of different events and we’ve done some work for the race tracks,” Jimmy Tempesta, owner of the business with his wife Tracey, said. “We’ve been around a long time, it’s a whole family deal. We have true home-cooking – everything from scratch and original. We encourage everyone to come visit us.”

The catering opportunities at each event will be for Whitcomb 5 Series sponsors and guests. Tempesta’s will also cater the Trackside Party that will take place the night before the season-finale at Monadnock in September.

“Having Tempesta’s join the Whitcomb 5 Series family is going to be awesome for all of us,” Gregg Whitcomb, owner of GW Promotional Group, said. “This will give all of the guests of our series the perfect chance to enjoy a great time, with some great food, while watching some of the best short-track drivers in the country compete for glory. The Tempesta family is a tight-knit group, and so are all of us at GW Promotional Group. We look forward to welcoming them into our own family. The season can’t come quick enough – we’re excited to get rolling.”

Outside of this announcement, the hype for the Whitcomb 5 Series continues to grow, with the drop of the first green flag of the season just under two months away.

The Whitcomb 5 Series will begin with the 125-lap Whitcomb Classic, as part of Monadnock Speedway’s opening weekend, on Sunday, May 1. Just one day after the opener for the Monaco Modified Tri Track Series, NHSTRA Modified drivers will tackle the high-banks for a special event. From there, the series will move to Claremont Motorsports Park on Friday, June 17, and Lee USA Speedway on Friday, July 15. One month later, the NHSTRA Modifieds rumble around the high-banks of Hudson Speedway on a Sunday afternoon, August 14, before finishing the season and crowning the champion right back where it started – at Monadnock – on September 16-17.

Teams are also reminded that registration for the Whitcomb 5 Series is open. Teams can find the necessary forms to be filled out online at gwpromotional.com/registration. Teams have the option to either sign-up for single events at $40 per event, or enter for all five events at $150. All competitors are encouraged to enter as soon as possible in order to be part of the promotional stories leading into the first race.

Also new for this year, there will be an autograph book available for purchase at the events with further information about the drivers. Information will include a brief bio as well as pictures of the drivers and their cars. All drivers who register for the series are encouraged to provide the information they would like to see included, by emailing the PR Manager for GW Promotional Group at jessica@gwpromotional.com.

Businesses in the New Hampshire area and beyond will also have the opportunity to purchase ad space inside the programs. Those interested can contact Jessica at jessica@gwpromotional.com to learn more. The deadline for any graphics and payments for ad space is March 1. The programs will also include information about Gregg Whitcomb, the owner of GW Promotional Group, Jessica Whitcomb, and a short biography of Bob Whitcomb, along with the series format and more.
