410 Sprints to Battle for $4k to Win at Waynesfield
WAYNESFIELD, OH. – The 410 sprints will battle for $4,000 to win Saturday, April 2 at Waynesfield Raceway Park as the “Field” opens the 2022 season.
The unsanctioned 410 winged sprints will pay $400 to start the A-main. The modifieds will battle for $700 to win ($100 to start) and the NRA Sprint Invaders and USAC Thunder Sprints will via for their normal respective purses.
“We are keeping a close eye on the weather and will make a final decision later in the week. Hopefully, Mother Nature will cooperate,” said Shane Heloms Waynesfield Promoter.
General admission and pit gates will open around 2 p.m. Saturday with racing getting underway around 5 p.m. General admission tickets will be $18 with senior citizens (ages 62 and up ) at $15; ages 11-15 at $10 and ages 10 and under for free. Pit passes will be $30.
