Madness Draws Closer: Monster Trucks Set for Georgetown Speedway Takeover April 8 & 9
GEORGETOWN, DE – The madness draws closer.
Tickets are selling rapidly for the Monster Truck Racing League (MTRL) return to Georgetown Speedway with the ‘Monster Truck Madness’ scheduled for Friday, April 8 and Saturday, April 9 at the Sussex County facility.

Anticipation has built in southern Delaware for the last two years for the return of the MTRL. After COVID-19 forced a cancellation of the show in 2020 and scheduling conflicts left them off in 2021, the MTRL returns in 2022.
Six full-size Monster Trucks will be in action, including world record long-jump holder Bad Habit. High-flying freestyle motocross competitors join the MTRL on both shows.
A pre-event pit party and meet & greet comes included with all ticket purchases. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the drivers and take photos with their favorite competitors.
Two complete shows are planned: one each for Friday and Saturday.
Gates open at 5:30 p.m. each night with the pit party taking place from 6-7 p.m.
Showtime follows shortly after at 7:30 p.m.
Advance Adult tickets cost just $20 and $10 for Kids (ages 3-12).
Tickets at the gate cost $25 for Adults and $15 for Kids (ages 3-12).
Children 2 & under are admitted free.
‘Monster Truck Madness’ events include giveaways, delicious concessions, $10 Monster Truck rides and FREE on-site parking.
