Boothill Bound: Short Track Super Series ‘Cajun Region’ Visits Boothill Speedway April 9

GREENWOOD, LA – The Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco ‘Cajun Region’ has officially kicked off its 2022 campaign.

Waxahachie, Texas resident Korey Keimig claimed his first-career STSS ‘Cajun Region’ victory at Superbowl Speedway in Greenville, Texas on March 26. Now the STSS ‘Cajun Region’ stars prepare for Round No. 2 of their 13-race Day Motor Sports campaign.

Boothill Speedway in Greenwood, La., hosts the STSS ‘Cajun Region’ for the first time in a points-paying race on Saturday, April 9.

The stars of the Northeast joined the ‘Cajun Region’ drivers last November during the 2021 ‘Cajun Swing’ at Boothill Speedway, where Ringoes, N.J.’s Ryan Godown was the victor.

Korey Keimig leads the STSS ‘Cajun Region’ points after the opening event. Doyline, La.’s Kody Adams – who made his ‘Cajun Region’ debut at Superbowl Speedway driving for Frank Lofton – sits second in points. Robeline, La.’s Caleb Dillard – the defending ‘Cajun Region’ champion – sits third.

Ovilla, Texas driver Dale Wester and Converse, La.’s Tommy Rascoe round out the top-five in the current standings after the opening round of the STSS ‘Cajun’ Region.

For the April 9 event, pit gates open at 4 p.m. with grandstand gates opening at 6 p.m. Cars are scheduled to hit the track at 7:30 p.m.

Grandstand admission $15 for Adults and $5 for Kids (ages 6-11). Children (5 & under) get in FREE.

Pit admission is $35.
