Double Your Fun Saturday Night at Caraway Speedway

Double Features in All Divisions; Bandoleros and Legends Cars Return

(Sophia, NC):  Race fans and drivers can double their fun this weekend at Asheboro, NC’s Caraway Speedway when all the divisions will run two features on “Twin Night at the Races.”

The tracks featured Late Model division will run two 35 lap features while the Challengers will run two 20 lappers.  The 602 Modifieds run two 20 lap features and the Mini Stocks will run “twin” 12 lap features.  Legend Cars will take to the track for two 20 lap races and the Bandolero’s and UCAR’s run two 10 lap events.

Saturday’s events will close a challenging three-week stretch for some of the track’s regular competitors.

Trevor ward leads Coy Beard, Tony Black, and Boo Boo Dalton.  2021 division Champion, Blaise Brinkely rounds out the top five.

Kyler Kepley, Todd Garren, and Matthew Smith lead the Challenger division standings heading into week three.

In the 602 Modifieds, youngsters Carson Loftin and Cody Norman are sandwiched around veteran Josh Lowder after two races.

In the tracks Mini Stock division, Johnny Baker has a six-point lead over Adam Thomas who is only four markers ahead of Tyler Bush and Levi Holt.  Jimmy Crigger rounds out the top five.

In the UCAR chase, Daniel Hughes, Steven Collins, Cory Rose, Jeremy Kidd, and Troy Ring make up the top five heading into week three.

Practice starts at 4:45 PM and qualifying for all divisions is included in their respective final practice sessions.  Trackside gates open at 4:30 PM and Grandstands open at 5:00 PM.  Racing starts at 7:00 PM Saturday night.
