Justin Bonsignore Heads For Duel at the Dog at Monadnock Speedway
HOLTSVILLE, N.Y. – After a few weeks off, Justin Bonsignore and the rest of the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour drivers are heading to Monadnock Speedway this Saturday, June 18, for the Duel at the Dog 200. As the sixth race of the season for the Whelen Modified Tour, Monadnock will mark the beginning of a two-week stretch of races for the Tour – which will also include a return to Riverhead Raceway on June 25.
Bonsignore and Monadnock Speedway have a successful history together. The Holtsville, New York, native has three victories in eight starts on the high-banks in New Hampshire. Bonsignore has finished inside the top-10 in all of those starts, and the top-five in seven of them. He is also the most recent Whelen Modified Tour winner at Monadnock – back in 2020 – and is excited to get back there on Saturday.
“We’ve been successful at Monadnock before and we’re looking forward to heading there for the race this weekend,” Bonsignore said. “It’s one of my favorite tracks on the schedule, but a tough track, with two completely different corners. It takes a strong car to go out there and win. We know what is in front of us and we’re excited to have the opportunity to go out there and get the job done.”
On Saturday, practice rounds will last from 2-3 p.m., followed by Mayhew Tools pole qualifying at 5 p.m. The drop of the green flag for the Duel at the Dog 200 is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. All tickets for the event are available in advance at JDVProductions.com and will also be available at the track. The race will also air live on FloRacing.TV for those who can’t make it to the track.
