Call celebrates first win in GSPSS at Lee, Lee returns to action on Saturday

LEE, NH- Casey Call will always remember his first win in the Granite State Pro Stock Series two weeks ago at the Lee USA Speedway. Call was top five in time trials and redrew the pole. Call would lead every lap during the Keen Auto Parts 150. The Pembroke, NH driver would face many challenges from NASCAR Cup Series driver Tyler Reddick during the closing laps of the race. Call would go home with $10,000. The Truly Hard Seltzer 125 Whitcomb 5 Series also took place for the NHSTRA Modifieds as Sam Rameau took down the win becoming the third different winner of the series this season. The next race for the Whitcomb 5 series will be in two weeks on Sunday, August 14 at Hudson International Speedway.
Lee USA Speedway will return to action this Saturday as it will be the second race of the Rodfather Pro Stocks. The Pro Stocks will race Twin 40’s. Call is one of the drivers that is entered for the event. Another driver that is also entered is Issac Belvin out of Louisville, KY. Other drivers include Wayne Helliwell, Jr, Kate Re, Jimmy Renfrew, Jr, Jeremy Davis, Nick Cusack, Brandon Barker, Bobby Cabral, and other drivers. The Late Model Sportsman will also be in action as they will race 50 laps. Other divisions that will be apart of the program will be the Street Stocks, Ridge Runners, Six Shooters, and Pure Stocks.
The Pit Gates will open at 2:00 p.m. and General Admission will open at 4:00 p.m. Practice will also begin at 4:00 p.m. The racing program will begin at 5:55 p.m.
The next event for the Granite State Pro Stock Series will be on Friday, August 12 at Claremont Motorsports Park.
