“Mickey” Miller Passes Away
MICHAEL E. “MICKEY” MILLER, 62, of Eaton Rd., Stratford, died unexpectedly at his home on November 18, 2022, after a sudden illness.
Mickey was born on November 4, 1960, in Johnston, Rhode Island the only child of the late Eugene and Katherine Miller. He was a graduate of Johnston Senior High School, class of 1979. He then attended MTTI and received his computer programming certificate and later his ASE Certificate in Auto Mechanics.
He worked for Seekonk Speedway in Seekonk, MA for several years before moving to Stratford in 2002. Mickey worked for VIP Tires and Service in Gorham as a Service Manager from 2005 until September of 2022. He was currently employed as Service Writer at Extra Care Auto Repair in Berlin. Mickey also started working at Riverside Speedway and Adventure Park in Groveton in 2005 and was Head Safety Crew and did all of the announcing in the pit area. Mickey loved computers; racing and working on cars.
Mickey is survived by his three children Haley Miller (Gregory Fuller) of Charlestown, NH; Nicholas “Nick” Miller of York, SC; and Taylor Miller (Nick Roy) of Berlin, NH; two grandchildren Isaac and Elizabeth; the mother of his children Lisa Miller of Berlin.
A celebration of Mickey’s life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton.
