Add Another! Wall’s Ford Platinum Late Model Series Now a Four Race Series for 2023
N. Woodstock, NH — After a successful inaugural season in 2022, the Wall’s Ford Platinum Late Model Series is back at White Mountain Motorsports Park and has grown from a three-race triple crown to a true series in 2023. The four-event Wall’s Ford Platinum Late Model Series will be featured on some of White Mountain’s biggest schedule highlights in 2023 as round two looks brighter than ever!
Starting off with the 4th annual Spring Board 100 on Saturday, May 27th, the Wall’s Ford Platinum Series now includes the all-new $1,500-to-win Late Model special on Saturday, June 10th. The Platinum Series returns on Saturday, July 29th for Late Model teams’ final test-and-tune before the ACT Milton CAT Midsummer Classic 250 on August 5th. Lastly, this year’s Wall’s Ford Platinum Series will decide their champion alongside the 4th annual R&R Race Parts NH Street Stock Open 100 on Saturday, September 9th.
Nearly 40 different Late Model teams attempted at least one Wall’s Ford Platinum Series event in 2022, with that number expected to grow in its sophomore season. Officials expect even more traveling teams to invade the local Foley Oil & Propane Late Model ranks in search of the extra cash on the line at one of New England’s favorite bullrings.
North Dartmouth, Massachusetts’ Derek Gluchacki was able to pull off the hat trick, winning all three Wall’s Ford Platinum Series events in 2022, but can he pull off the feat once again? Along with an American-Canadian Tour title run in 2023, Gluchacki has also signed on to pilot the famous #3 Boehler Racing ‘Ole Blue’ Tour-type Modified on the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series circuit. Planning a busy summer ahead leaves his White Mountain plans in limbo, but he’s not leaving a Wall’s Ford Platinum Series title defense out of the question.
“With Derek’s 2023 schedule up in the air, it could be anyone’s game in the Wall’s Ford Platinum Series this year,” said White Mountain managing partner Cris Michaud. “The Platinum Series is a terrific opportunity for teams to get experience at White Mountain without breaking the budget. We’re thankful to Wall’s Ford for helping us make the Series even bigger and we’re excited to see new invaders battle our local hot shoes.”
