George Bessette Jr. To Pilot 1 Open Modified for Superior Refinishing Racing
George Bessette Jr., of Danbury, CT, will drive the Superior Refinishing Racing 1 Open Tour-Type Modified this season.
Bessette Jr., an established Stafford Speedway SK Light winner, also has a couple of Open Modified starts to his name. This includes a 7th-place finish in his debut event.
Bessette Jr.’s first event for the team will be at the Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park Icebreaker, March 31st to April 2nd. The team then plans on a quick turnaround to enter the 51st Spring Sizzler at Stafford Speedway a few weeks later.
During the off-season, Superior Refinishing Racing has picked up a new sponsor as well for the 2023 season. Announcement to come soon.
