Gene Trask Passes Away
Clarence E. “Gene” Trask, 78, died early Monday morning March 20, 2023, in the Brentwood Nursing Home in Danvers. Born in Ipswich on December 1, 1944, he was the son of the late Arthur N. and Theresa L. (deGrandpre) Trask.
Gene was educated in Ipswich, he was a graduate of Ipswich High School, Class of 1962. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the Army until his honorable discharge. Gene was employed at McCormacks in Ipswich and also for Bostek. He had many welding projects over the years that were “Trask-Built” projects. Gene enjoyed NASCAR and would travel to Daytona. He enjoyed racing. He was a member of the VFW Post# 1093 of Ipswich and a member of the East Coast Tractor Club.

Gene is survived by his daughter Tracey and his 3 sisters: Rita Gagnon, Janet Trask, and Ann Trask.
An hour of visitation will be held Thursday, March 30th. from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. in the Morris Funeral Home 45 North Main Street, Ipswich. A graveside service with military honors will follow at 11:30 A.M. in the New Highland Cemetery 29 Town Farm Road, Ipswich, relatives, and friends are respectfully invited.
