1 MONTH ALERT: Albany-Saratoga, Airborne to Host June Weekday Events

WEEDSPORT, NY (May 15, 2023) – The Super DIRTcar Series has reserved June for weekday stops at Albany-Saratoga Speedway and Airborne Speedway.

First, the Series will make an early summer visit to Albany-Saratoga for the Summer Starter 71 on Tuesday, June 13. Then, The Beasts of the Northeast will return to Airborne Speedway, in Plattsburgh, NY, for the first time since 2019 on Wednesday, June 14.

Last year, local-favorite Mike Mahaney earned his second straight victory at Albany-Saratoga Speedway during the June event, while nine-time and defending Series champion Matt Sheppard won the Malta Massive Weekend in September.

This year will mark the Series’ fourth visit to Airborne Speedway, run by former Super DIRTcar Series Director Mike Perrotte. In the Series’ three previous trips to the northern New York track, Larry Wight won the first and last race (2017 and 2019), and Danny Johnson won in 2018.
