Rain Cancels WMMP Opening Day; PASS Moves to New Father’s Day Doubleheader on June 18th
N. Woodstock, NH — After continued hope throughout the week has evaporated, White Mountain Motorsports Park officials have made the difficult decision to cancel the Opening Day program originally scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday May 20th due to the impending rains forecasted to begin by 2:00pm and continue through to 2:00am, per the official forecast via NOAA. With the cancellation, an exciting new addition to the schedule has been made with the Pro All Stars Series now moving to Sunday, June 18th for an all-new doubleheader Father’s Day weekend on June 17th and 18th.
With cancelling tomorrow’s scheduled racing, White Mountain Motorsports Park will officially open the 2023 season next Saturday, May 27th with the 5th Annual Spring Board 100 on Memorial Day weekend for the Foley Oil & Propane Late Models as they start the 2023 Wall’s Ford Platinum Series campaign along with the Flying Tigers, Strictly Stock Minis, Dwarf Cars and Kid’s Division.
The Pro All Stars Series has now taken over an all-new date on Sunday, June 18th with the make-up PASS Super Late Model 150 along with some exciting additions. Starting at a special 2:00pm Post Time, June 18th will also feature the PASS Modifieds, an added event for the Ammonoosuc Asphalt Mini Late Models as they battle for $750-to-win event plus a $1,000-to-win Open Street Stock showdown to round out a stellar four-division card. This all comes after Saturday, June 17th with the White Mountain Late Models, Flying Tigers, Strictly Stock Minis and Kid’s Division combining with the New England Antique Racers and the NELCAR Legends and Bandoleros to complete a huge Father’s Day weekend Doubleheader special!
The 31st season at White Mountain Motorsports Park officially opens on Saturday, May 27th with a five-division showdown to kick-off the year. The Foley Oil & Propane Late Models start their fight for the King of the Mountain track championship by kicking off the Wall’s Ford Platinum Late Model Series with the 5th annual Spring Board 100. The Fisher Auto Parts Flying Tigers, Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Stock, Wayne’s Market Dwarf Cars and Dad’s 4 By Tool & Supply Kid’s Division will all be in attendance to get the 2023 season off and running!
