Friday & Saturday Star Doubleheader With Jim Belfiore Memorial on Tap for 350 Supermodifieds
(July 6, 2023) — For the second consecutive weekend, Star Speedway will have two exciting nights of racing on tap for fans with 12 feature events over the course of two nights. Friday’s racing will see the King Series for the K-COB Slingshots with a 30-lap feature for the popular division. The New England Dwarf Car Series will also be in town, joining them will be the Super Troopers, Junkyard Dogs, Cruisers Mighty Trucks, and the Pro V8 Enduro.
Saturday’s racing will be highlighted by the 40-lap Jim Belfiore memorial feature event for the 350 Supermodifieds. The Izzett Construction Late Models will also be on hand, joined by the Woody’s Auto Street Stocks who will be running a MLM Fast 40 presented by CATCO feature event. The 2 To Go Show Six Shooters presented by Top Gun Roofing will be back on hand as well, joined by the S.T.A.R. Tour antique racers making their annual visit to the place to race.
Friday night’s program is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. with the grandstands opening up at 5:30 p.m. General admission for Friday’s races will be $5 for everyone over the age of 11, kids under 11 will be free. Pit gates are scheduled to open up at 4:30pm for Star members, and pit pay customers, gates will open for all others at 4:45pm. Pit admission for Friday nights event will be $25 for all, with practice scheduled to start at 545pm.
Saturday’s racing is set to begin at 6pm, with grandstands scheduled to open up at 4pm. General admission will be $15 for adults, Sr/Jr/military will be $12, and kids 11 and under will be free. Pit gates are scheduled to open up at 3pm for Star members, and Pit Pay customers, and 3:15pm for all others. Pit admission will be $30 for Star members, and $35 for all others, with practice scheduled to begin at 4pm.
