Monaco Modified Tri Track Series and R&r Street Stock Tour Headline Weekend Double-header at Star Speedway

​(July 19, 2023) — Star Speedway in Epping, New Hampshire, returns to action in a big way this weekend with a Friday/Saturday doubleheader featuring the Monaco Modified Tri Track Series making their annual appearance at The Place To Race with a 100 lap main event scheduled. The R&R Street Stock Tour will also be on hand for the tour’s first race at the Epping oval, set for 75 laps. Weekly division racing is also on the docket for both Friday and Saturday night as well.

Kicking off the weekend of racing on Friday night will be the return of $5 Friday with another leg of the King Series for the K-COB Slingshots, while the NELCAR Legends and Bandoleros will also be back on track joined by the Morse Trucking Cruisers, Super Troopers, Mighty Trucks, Junkyard Dogs, and the Pro V8 Enduros. Friday night racing begins promptly at 7PM.

Pit gates are scheduled to open up at 4:30PM on Friday for all Star members, and Pit Pay app customers, gates will open up at 4:45PM for all others. Pit admission is $25 for all. Grandstands will open up at 5:30PM with practice scheduled to begin at 5:45PM. General admission will be $5 for all over the age of 11.

Saturday’s racing will be highlighted by the ground pounding action of the Monaco Modified Tri Track Series running 100 laps on the Epping oval. The R&R Street Stock Tour will also be in town on Saturday for 75 laps, putting some of the Northeast’s best Street Stock racers against Star Speedway’s Woody’s Auto Street Stock divisions best to see who will take home the top prize. The 2 To Go Show Six Shooters and MLM Diagnostic Service Pure Stocks will also be in action on Saturday, both running 25 lap feature events as part of the nights program. Practice is set to kick off at 2:15PM, with the first green flag of the day scheduled to wave at 5PM with Six Shooter qualifying.

Pit gates are scheduled to open up at 12:30PM on Saturday for the Monaco Modifieds and Star members, and 1PM for all others. Pit admission will be $50 for non-members and $45 for Star members. General admission will open at 2:15PM and will be $30 for adults, $25 for seniors/juniors/military, $5 for ages 5-11 and kids five and under free.
