Star Speedway is Back in Action This Weekend With Two More Days of Racing Excitement

​(July 26, 2023) — For the second consecutive week Star Speedway is headed into a busy weekend with racing scheduled on both Friday and Saturday night. Last Saturday night saw Jake Johnson repeat as winner in the Monaco Modified Tri Track Series, while Shane Gendron topped the competition in R&R Street Stock Tour action. In Star Speedway weekly division racing Billy Eastman scored the victory in the 2 To Go Show Six Shooters and Sean Nadeau bested the field in MLM Diagnostic Pure Stock action.

It will be another edition of Star $5 Friday to kick off the weekend. The evenings racing program will feature another leg of the King Series for the K-COB Slingshots, the Super Troopers, Pro V8 Enduros, Mighty Trucks, Junkyard Dogs, and Morse Trucking Cruisers. Friday’s racing is scheduled to begin at 7PM with heat racing, with grandstands opening up at 5:30PM. Admission will be $5 for all over the age of 11. Pit gates are scheduled to open up at 4:30PM with admission set at $25 for all. Practice for Friday nights racing is set to begin at 5:45PM.

Saturday night’s racing schedule will feature the return of the Ken Izzett Construction Late Models to the Epping oval. Also on track will be the Woody’s Auto Street Stocks, K-COB Slingshots, 2 To Go Show Six Shooters, MLM Diagnostic Pure Stocks, and Super Troopers, who along with the Slingshots, will be in action for the second night in a row.


Saturday’s racing is scheduled to begin at 6PM with heat racing, while grandstands are scheduled to open at 4PM with admission being $15 for adults, $12 for Jr/Sr/Military, and kids 11 and under will be free. Pit gates are set to open up at 3PM for Star members and Pit Pay app users, and will open at 3:15PM for all others. Pit admission will be $30 for Star members, and $35 for non-members with practice scheduled to begin at 4:15PM.
