Proud father of Daniel C. (Carrie) Reich and Amy E. Reich; devoted grandfather of Brett J. Reich and Satya Jackson; uncle to J. Herb Reich II and Stephanie Anne Fermelia. Known as Edsel Dan, he was a legendary and fearless stock car driver of Edsels and T-birds.
A regular driver and winner of races primarily at Holland and Lancaster speedways in the ’70s and early ’80s. Dan was an antique car parts specialist, especially anything Edsel. He was a kind, humble neighbor called the mayor of Ashland by the old timers on his block. Funeral Services are private. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
