SIG SAUER Academy Partners with New Hampshire Motor Speedway for Dirt Duels

The SIG SAUER Academy Dirt Duels will kick off the weekend’s on-track action June 21 at The Flat Track at
New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

LOUDON, N.H. – SIG SAUER Academy, the premier firearms and tactics training destination for more than two decades, is partnering with New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) and adding their name to the SIG SAUER Academy Dirt Duels on Friday, June 21 at The Flat Track.

The SIG SAUER Academy Dirt Duels will kick off New England’s only NASCAR weekend with thrilling racing from Sprint Cars of New England, two classes of Granite State Mini Sprints, and the Xtreme Dirt Midget Association.

“SIG SAUER Academy is excited to partner with New Hampshire Motor Speedway,” said SIG SAUER Academy Director of Operations Phil Strader. “Our companies have a rich history of providing the residents and visitors to the Granite State amazing experiences on the range and at the track. This partnership will bring race fans and training enthusiasts in New England and across the country together for a safe, thrilling, and unforgettable experience.”

SIG SAUER Academy, based in Epping, N.H., provides specialized training that effectively supports the armorer, firearms transition, and instructor training requirements of law enforcement and military agencies in the United States. In 2001, a few specialized courses for select civilian organizations and businesses were introduced, and when the demand from the civilian population grew, the Academy expanded its course offerings to both armed professionals and responsible citizens.

“Race fans are in for a real treat this June at the SIG SAUER Academy Dirt Duels,” said New Hampshire Motor Speedway Executive Vice President and General Manager David McGrath. “We’re not only proud to add SIG SAUER Academy to our growing list of partners who, like us, pride themselves in being the best and providing a top-notch training experience for their customers, but we’re also thrilled to align ourselves with a company who prioritizes safety like we do.”

Last year, NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) regular Chase Briscoe, the first NASCAR driver to compete in a Sprint Cars of New England event, won the 30-lap feature at The Flat Track at NHMS.

The 2024 SIG SAUER Academy Dirt Duels schedule is as follows (schedule is subject to change):

Race fans can enjoy fireworks and a live concert by Draw the Line, the only officially endorsed Aerosmith tribute band, immediately following the conclusion of the on-track action. For a full SIG SAUER Academy Dirt Duels schedule, click here.

Following Friday’s SIG SAUER Academy Dirt Duels at The Flat Track, the NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) and Whelen Modified Tour (NWMT) will take over “The Magic Mile” on Doubleheader Saturday, June 22 for the SciAps 200 and Mohegan Sun 100.
