Fisher Auto Parts Flying Tigers Look for Continued Growth in 2024

N. Woodstock, NH — White Mountain Motorsports Park officials have been excitedly receiving a growing amount of Fisher Auto Parts Flying Tiger license applications at the American-Canadian Tour offices in Barre, Vermont. A strong contingent of both new and continued supporters look to continue the recent growth of the iconic division at New Hampshire’s Favorite Short Track in 2024.

It wouldn’t be the Flying Tigers at White Mountain Motorsports Park without the Potter and Sicard families joining the fray. After a year off, former track champion Shane Sicard is back in action, alongside brother Jody and nephew Austin Sicard who is poised to move up from the Kid’s Division to join the ‘#1 Support Division in North America.’ Meanwhile, ‘Uncle’ Mike, Chandler, and Matt Potter have also stated their intent to run the White Mountain highbanks in both full and part-time capacities in 2024.

2023 champion Brandon Gray is also set to return and defend his dominant title from one year ago while Rookie of the Year Luke Peters and fellow 2023 freshman Nate Hamblett and Jim Paquette are also set to return. Belmont’s Frankie Sweeney and East Montpelier, Vermont’s Joey Laquerre are also set for full-time competition while Stephen Donahue and Mike Clark are looking to run the Central Asphalt Paving Triple Crown and the ACT Tri-State Series.

A pair of Vermont rookies will join young Austin Sicard in the rookie title fight this season. After cutting his teeth last year, Moretown’s Owen Cheney is set for his first full-season slate against longtime four-cylinder challenger Kyle Willis moving up and hauling down from Derby Line.

Thunder in the Mountains returns for the 2024 season on HK Powersports Opening Day, Saturday, May 18 with the Late Models, Strictly Minis, Dwarf Cars, Kids Division, Mini Late Models, and the R&R Street Stock Open Series! Opening weekend also features the Pro All Stars Series doubleheader on Sunday, May 19 that includes the first leg of the all-new ACT Tri-State Flying Tiger Series, New England Supermodified Series, and PASS Modifieds!
