Midstate Site Development Sponsoring Street Stock 30 at Stafford for 5th Consecutive Season

(Stafford Springs, CT)—For the 5th consecutive season, Midstate Site Development of Bloomfield, CT will serve as the title sponsor for the biggest and richest Street Stock race of the season, the Midstate Site Development Firecracker 30.  The 30-lap extra distance special event is scheduled for Friday, June 28th and will feature total posted awards of over $5,000 with the race winner guaranteed to take home $700.  The evening will be capped off with a Fireworks display to celebrate Independence Day.

“I was participating in sponsoring another organization and that went by the wayside so I talked with the Arutes and they originally wanted me to do some sponsorship with the SK Lights,” said Glenn Korner, Owner and President of Midstate Site Development.  “I didn’t want anything to do with sponsoring something in a division that we were competing in at the time and I thought the Street Stocks would be an awesome fit.  The Street Stocks are a great division and everyone in that division always gives their all every step of the way.  I figured this would be great for a division that guys are going paycheck to paycheck trying to keep a racecar on the track.”

In addition to being the biggest and richest Street Stock race of the season, the MSD 30 has also served as a crystal ball by previewing which race-winning driver will become that year’s Street Stock champion.  Zack Robinson started the trend by winning the MSD 30 and the championship during the 2020 season and he was followed by Frank L’Etoile, Jr. in 2021, Travis Hydar in 2022, and Ryan Waterman this past season.  Waterman and Hydar finished 1-2 in last year’s MSD 30, just as they ended the season 1-2 in the Street Stock standings, and after winning 13 of the 15 Street Stock races last season, they will both be favorites to take home the $700 winner’s purse this season.
