NASCAR Announces Mobil 1™ as Presenting Sponsor of Victory Lane for all NASCAR-Owned Racetracks

Mobil 1 Also Becomes an Official Sponsor of All NASCAR-Owned Racetracks

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Mar. 28, 2024) – Once the checkered flag flies and burnouts are complete, every NASCAR winner will navigate their vehicle to victory lane to celebrate with their team and fans. Beginning in 2024, Mobil 1, Official Motor Oil of NASCAR and longtime sponsor of the sport, will further be a part of these celebrations by adorning the coveted grounds of victory lane at all NASCAR-owned national series racetracks across the country.

“We are thrilled to expand our sponsorship with NASCAR by becoming the presenting sponsor of victory lane,” shared Rob Shearer, Director of Global Sponsorships and Marketing Services, on behalf of Mobil 1. “Being part of post-win celebrations at all NASCAR-owned racetracks will allow us to continue to build on our shared passion for racing and winning.”

In addition to becoming the presenting sponsor of Mobil 1 Victory Lane, the brand will also become an official sponsor of all NASCAR-owned national series racetracks. Mobil 1 continues to be the “Official Motor Oil of NASCAR” – a successful sponsorship that has been in place for more than 20 years.

Mobil 1 began its involvement in NASCAR with the sponsorship of Rusty Wallace’s No. 27 car in 1987, and the brand became a series sponsor as the “Official Motor Oil of NASCAR” in 2003. Doubling down on its commitment to NASCAR, Mobil 1 announced its expanded relationship with Toyota Racing Development (TRD) earlier this year to include primary assets with all three of Toyota’s NASCAR Cup Series teams – Joe Gibbs Racing, 23XI Racing and LEGACY MOTOR CLUB – in late January 2024.

“Mobil 1 has been synonymous with NASCAR for more than two decades, and as one of the world’s most recognizable blue-chip brands, our official sponsorship has resulted in exposing this great sport to millions of fans across the globe,” said Michelle Byron, NASCAR Senior Vice President of Partnership Marketing. “What’s more, Mobil 1 exemplifies what it takes to produce a winning formula, so the brand’s presence in NASCAR Victory Lane could not make more sense.”

Today, Mobil 1 synthetic motor oil continues to be relied upon for its ability to deliver exceptional engine performance and protection under some of the most extreme conditions. Automotive technicians, race car drivers, team owners, and some of the world’s leading automotive manufacturers can all testify to the advanced technology of Mobil 1 lubricants. The brand continues to strive for excellence in their product and it is with that continued passion, utilizing strategic motorsports relationships is one more way to connect consumer products with the love of racing.

The NASCAR Cup Series continues with the Toyota Owner’s 400 at Richmond Raceway, on Sunday, March 31 at 7 p.m. ET on FOX, MRN, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
